What do you enjoy most or what were your most rewarding experiences involving your work in chiropractic?
What I enjoy most is helping patients with complex spinal conditions who may have been told that their only choices are to live with their condition or eventually consider surgery. Over nearly three decades in practice, my focus has increasingly shifted toward scoliosis, adult spinal deformity, kyphosis and structural rehabilitation. It is particularly rewarding to give patients a better understanding of their spine and provide conservative options they may not have previously known were available. I also enjoy continuing to learn, evolving clinically, and sharing that knowledge with other chiropractors.
Provide a brief description of your practice areas:
My practice focuses on the non-surgical management of scoliosis, kyphosis, adult spinal deformity and postural disorders. I utilize Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®), ScoliBrace® 3D bracing, ScoliBalance® scoliosis-specific exercise and other evidence-informed rehabilitation approaches. A major focus of my practice is the adult and older adult scoliosis population—patients who are often looking for conservative options to improve function, posture, pain and quality of life.
